New online seminar series

Online seminars: Saving resources and material, reducing component costs and cycle times

In modern injection moulding production, a reduction in throughput times in the concept and design phase and a reduction in costs in the actual process can only be achieved by using modern hot runner and cold runner systems.

In our online seminars we present trends, developments and solutions in the areas of configuration and optimal design of hot runner and cold runner systems. Let yourself be inspired and discover opportunities to increase the quality of your products while reducing the use of energy and materials.

Register now for our online seminars:
You can register by e-mail using the respective link under the seminar description until one day before the event.

The seminars are held using the video conferencing software „ZOOM“ , which can be installed free of charge. The participants will receive the meeting ID and a direct link to the software by e-mail. Ideally, you will have a video and audio connection via computer to enable interaction with the moderator.

The participation is free of charge

Heißkanallösungen zur Verarbeitung technischer Thermoplaste

Hot runner solutions for processing engineering thermoplastics

Tuesday, 6th of October 2020
10:00 am to 10:30 am

Reduction of component costs through direct gating and shorter cycle times as well as material savings.

For engineering thermoplastics such as PBT, PA6.6 or PEEK, a narrow temperature process window is usually available during processing. Practical examples are used to present the possibilities of hot runner technology. Thermal separation and temperature control as well as optimal system design are explained.

CADHOC – Heißkanalsystemkonfiguration Online

CADHOC® – Hot Runner System Configuration Online

Wednesday, 7th of October 2020
2:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Reduction of lead times in the concept and design phase by providing 3D model data of the hot runner system depending on the application.

Introduction of the CADHOC® system configurator, application dependent hot runner design, selection of 3D model data, data export.

16-fach Nadelverschluss-System mit elektrischem Antrieb für Artikel aus der Medizintechnik

16-drop valve gate system with electric drive for medical parts

Thursday, 8th of October 2020
10:00 am to 10:30 am

Due to gate quality and clean room production in medical technology, the demand for electrical valve gate hot runner systems is increasing.

Types of needle guides, which lead to optimum gate quality with long service life, as well as electrical drive types of the needles in the valve gate hot runner system are presented on the basis of a realized application.

Mikrospritzgießen mit Heißkanal

Micro injection moulding with hot runner

Tuesday, 13th of October 2020
2:00 pm to 2:30 pm

High sprue waste in the production of microcomponents should be avoided.

On the basis of realised applications with direct gating for part volumes of 0.004cm³ and 0.016cm³, the points thermal separation, temperature control, dwell time and pressure loss in the hot runner system are explained.

Kaltkanaltechnik zur Verarbeitung von LSR („Liquid Silicon Rubber“)

Cold runner technology for processing LSR (“Liquid Silicon Rubber”)

Wednesday, 14th of October 2020
10:00 am to 10:30 am

Reduction of component costs through direct gating and shorter cycle times as well as material savings.

Cold runner systems for LSR processing are usually supplied by the cold runner tool supplier with the tool. GÜNTHER offers these systems as standard parts. The possibilities are presented on the basis of products and realised applications.

Energieeffizienz durch thermische Isolation und Dickschichtbeheizung von Heißkanalsystemen

Energy efficiency through thermal insulation and thick-film heating of hot runner

Thursday, 15th of October 2020
2:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Reduction of energy costs in the injection moulding process and environmental certificates require the use of modern hot runner systems with very good efficiency.

The types of temperature losses in the injection mould are presented. By which measures these can be reduced is explained physically. Corresponding types of heating are shown and technically explained.
