The BlueFlow® hot runner nozzle provides for high productivity and cost-effectiveness. That‘s why new molds should be fitted with the new nozzle system right from the beginning. However, it is also worth retrofitting existing injection molding tools with the new nozzle systems.

Hot-runner Technology. Extremly thin-walled products with ultra-fine structures make particularly high demands on the injection molding process. In a pilot application, a plastics processor has tested a hot-runner system with new thickfilm heater elements and thus engineered a more cost-effective production of precision filters, a safety component for the automotive industry, with greater process stability.
Pace setting developments in medical engineering are closely connected with plastic materials. Products with the most varied properties meet extremely high requirements of precision and functionality. Hot runner technology plays a key role in the process of cost effictive production.
Hot-Runner Technology. A new type of truck side lights consists of three different plastic materials and inserts. It is injection molded in a single-stage process. In making up the concept for the complex hot-runner system, designers had to deal with two obstacles: it had to pay account for the vast differences in temperatures between mold and material, and place the required number of eight needle valve nozzles within a restricted space, while adhering to the exacting tolerances.
B. Braun Melsungen AG, one of the Europe's largest manufacturers, has brought a new high-tech production facility for infusion solutions on stream. Needle valve technology played an important role in the implementation of the project.
For decades now, the Bruder Spielwaren in Fürth has stood for high-quality toys made in Europe. For the movable figures in particular, Bruder relies on Günther hot-runner technology. The challenges presented in this type of production are the need to process different types of materials and to have the very narrow bore pitches that are required for the hot-runner nozzles.
